dear all..
as what i mentioned to anna over the phone last night, it is not advisable for you guys to stay till so late to practise this week as it is your CA week. I'm sure even if your parents do not scold you, they are still very much concerned since I think it will, whether we like it or not, take a toll on your studies if you stay till 6 plus everyday.
So, instead of staying till 6 plus everyday, we will open the band room till about 4 everyday. You guys can drop by to play and practise for about slightly more than an hour. I will be able to come down on tuesday and thursday. Like what i've mentioned before, consistency is the most important thing when it comes to playing. It doesn't help if you play till 6 plus everyday this week or for some days and do not continue this practice in future. Playing an hour everyday will help you more in the long run as compared to stretching yourself this week.
I need you to understand that as much as i'm very glad you guys are working very hard and wanting to practise every single day till 6 plus, i'm also concerned about your grades and studies. Everything in life needs a balance. Even in music. Remember the triangle I mentioned before-the balance between and within sections? You need to be able to balance between your studies and band too.
One more important thing is discipline. If you can exercise discipline in your studies or any aspects of your life, I'm sure you'll be able to use that in your music playing too. So, let's all be disciplined enough to study and mug hard for our exams yet at the same time practise our instruments! Jia you for the exams ya!! =)

yo ppl...dun like that pls...i know we dun have much time to partis the songs but at least try ur best and dun give up, we are not always going to play easy songs right ? sure we ned to play songs like watch tower ..or blarblarblar songs that is very hard, so dun give up , like what miss jama said if u dun try hard songs and always play songs like quiet moments,beauty and the beast we will never inprove, ok we will in prove but i think just a little bit only right ? so we play harder songs to in prove our skills. dun give up , i thought we still want to play Chorale and Shaker Dance? do u know how hard it is ? it's harder than watch tower ok? if watch tower we cannot play then dun think about Chorale and Shaker Dance,so just practis!!!! jiayou!!we can do it !!
