Moving forward.
Out in front.
Aim high above the clouds.
You can fly.
Believe in yourself.
Dreams can come true.
Dont limit yourself.
Dont be bound by rules.
Experiment and wonder.
Let your mind lead you.

all the amazing things
you can do! ! !
I believe u can do it.
nothing is impossible.
so smile and look at

do not forget that there are

Hello dear juniors, I’m writing on behalf of most of our seniors who think the same way as I do, including Yunhan, Wayne, etc..
Dear juniors, firstly, you guys have to improve and realise what is happening around you all already. It is already June, and some of you still cannot play your notes or instrument well. You’ll be joining the seniors in a few months time. You guys really have to practice to rise up to our standard or even better. Your batch will be joining us in SYF next year. We don’t want to get a mere COP right? I’m sure we all want to maintain our standard or silver or more.
Secondly, you guys have to respect Miss Jama. Whenever Miss Jama conducts or talks to you all, do not cut her off. WAIT for her to finish talking first, then raise up your hands and ask her whatever question you have for her. When Miss Jama gives you all a break, please spend the break time to look through your scores, rest or make do with it as a water break. You know what you cannot do – eat cup noodles.
Next, year by year, as sec fours of each year leave, our standard goes down, and down and down … we definitely don’t want that. WE want to improve. WE as a whole band want to improve to a standard, better than the previous batch. YOU guys want that too right? Nothing comes easy, and it takes time to play your instrument well. 10 minutes of practice a day would do. I don’t think you guys will study the whole day right? Take out 10 minutes of your leisure time to practice! It works and helps!
And, when seniors get punished because of you guys, its not entirely your faults! It is also our fault! We didn’t teach you properly, we’ve neglected you all, so don’t be sad, or feel guilty or whatever. Prove and show to us that you guys can do it! Don’t worry much, because we now have muscles:D cool huh? *shows off* XD
This really short message here from most of our seniors, we want to tell you to really start working hard already. Some of you may say it is ‘just a CCA’ and that we ‘no need to take things so seriously’ but BAND is not just a CCA. It is a CCA whereby you discover your leadership qualities, you learn music, and you enjoy music together, make music together. I’m sure some of you have this really special feeling when you play in a band arrangement right? You feel this really indescribable feeling... that band music is actually really cool! You get to listen to different instruments and their parts, and when put together, how magnificent it sounds right? Yep, so I hope that after you guys read this message, you’ll would really improve and stuff yea? Prove to the other seniors you can do it! Show us that you can on Monday, and the other practices.Please reflect after reading this message.
